Natural Breast Growth Progress Report #7: Boobinha D from the US (Before/After photos!)
In the Natural Breast Growth Progress Report series, I will share the breast growth progress, efforts, and sometimes hardships of those who have committed themselves to modify and improve their lifestyles and dietary habits for natural breast growth.
Boobinha D is an almost-35-years-old (in a couple of days!) mom who has gone through pregnancy, breastfeeding, AND an explant surgery! She originally got her implants for her modeling job but ended up quitting because she hated the way they looked on her tiny frame.
1. How did the breast growth journey feel for you so far?
I'm not going to lie, it feels pretty slow. But I basically started with nothing and I've seen that women who start with nothing tend to be really slow responders and it takes a very long time to build up breast tissue. But that woman who at least start with something seem to respond quickly and get quicker results. Now that I'm looking at year 2 of this, I feel as if I'm responding better, consistency is definately your friend through that and patience. It takes time to see the results you want, I definately recommend taking pictures of your progress and documenting your journey. Take ones with and without a bra, because sometimes there is change but you can't always see it with a bra on.
I have included some progress pictures throughout this so you can see how I have changed bodily as well, I used to wear a 30b and was 52kg after having my daughter, I exercised for 6 months using Jillian Michaels and toned up I also went down to my normal pre-baby weight of 47kg but my breasts went up to a 30D after a year of massage and the use of breast enhancement pumps.
2. How would you describe your commitment to growing your breasts?
Well having been basically only nipples for most of my life and feeling unbelievably self-conscious about my lack of breasts, I'm very committed now that I've found something that works about sticking to it. I would like to be able to get some cleavage and feel sexy. I also don't flinch when my husband touches them anymore, so I'd like to continue feeling better about my body, which having breasts seems to help.
3. How often did you massage your breasts?
I massage, or try to, at least once a day, which can be challenging with a toddler around the house, but you just have to set aside the time, think of it as a nice thing to do for yourself instead of just a chore, that helps me want to do it. Even when I'm really tired. If I'm low on time I massage whilst I'm in the bath or shower because I've found If you use a conditioner on your breast in the shower/bath, then you don't get the hazard of slipping as you do with oil, but your hands glide easily over your skin, it's also easy to wash off. If I'm not bathing that day then I'll squeeze it in, in the morning before I dress or before I use the breast enhancement pump at night.
4. What were some difficulties/challenges you faced during this time?
Well I've been working on increasing my breasts for a little over a year now. I didn't actually massage for six months before I found Yumi's blog, I use a breast enhancement device. Which is a breast pump, that I also use once in the evening for half an hour. But I found using this alone I wasn't getting very good results like there was growth but it was snail pace slow, it was actually my partner who mentioned that maybe I should be eating more protein. He used to be a personal trainer and to grow more muscle you have to eat lots of protein, so he thought it made sense that the same would be true for breasts. Which I then researched online to see if there were any other people eating more protein to gain breast. That's when I stumbled across Yumi's blog and it was actually a game-changer, I was considering giving up using the pump, but by adding in massage as well I have managed to gain another 1.5inchs which doesn't sound like much but you can really see the difference.
5. Which areas of your lifestyle/eating habits do you feel that you have improved?
I'm more aware of what I put into my body now, I used to skip meals or eat quick food, but I try and make sure I have protein at every meal now, my water intake is also miles better than it used to be. I feel as if water is the most important thing that you need, but protein is definitely a close second. You really need both to see results, plus my skin feels so much clearer now that I am drinking more.
6. How have your breasts changed over time?
Well I have some now. Before when I first started I couldn't even push out a top, It was just nipples showing through and nothing else, now I have little mounds and it makes it feel like it's all worth it. I sometimes still get discouraged, I want great results straight away. But I know I'm getting there and that's something. You can see so much improvement when you have side by side photos, it’s been one of my main motivators.
7. Any positive/negative changes to your body/mind/soul after starting your breast growth journey?
Positives are I feel more confident, I don't shy away from being touched, I enjoy trying on clothes now and don't just pick something that hides my figure. I've bought bralettes which I wouldn't have dreamed of before it was always the most padded bra I could find. I definately feel better overall about my appearance. I guess the negatives would be that I still suffer from a lot of boob envy, and want my breasts to grow faster, sometimes when I'm a bit more relaxed for a couple of days I defiantly worry about my progress going away. But in these moments I try and remind myself that it is a marathon, not a sprint, and I'm going to be fine, I will reach my goal I just have to keep going.
8. Were things as expected or not at all? In what ways?
When I first started the breast enhancement pump, I had such little breast tissue that the cups would just pop off all the time and I had to do one at a time, which was exhausting and frustrating. That was unexpected, but a lot of women who use the system are doing it to regain fullness after breastfeeding or to increase their bust but already have some, so they all made it sound relatively simple. It definitely wasn't, I feel like a lot of breast growth is trial and error and really you have to find what works for you by trying out different methods and techniques. I just so happen to get lucky that both Yumi's massage and the pump combined have helped me get good results.
9. What are some things you could've done better?
Not taken a month long break before I found Yumi's blog, drunk enough water from the beginning, eaten better. There are lots of things I probably could have done, it's definately a learning curve and I'm still learning and doing the best I can. I still don't drink or eat enough sometimes. I think that' quite normal we can't be perfect, really consistency definately helps though so if there is one thing that I could recommend it is just trying to make sure you are doing massage regularly and you'll see the results.
10. What are some things you wish I had told you beforehand/helped you more with during this time?
Nothing. Your blog and video are really helpful, I guess I'm curious to see how your journey is going to go after breastfeeding. But all of your help has been really valuable to me and I'm glad I found it. Thank you for keeping on doing such a great job and helping women feel more confident in themselves.
11. Please add anything else you want to add!
Before I found all the ways in which you could naturally grow your breasts, I actually paid to have breast implants.
This was back in 2010 when there wasn't much information about natural breast growth. In the end though, this turned out to be one of the worst decisions of my life. I not only had to pay lots of money but I ended up really sick.
Yes, you get the instant gratification of breasts, but they don't feel the same as natural breasts for starters. Also because I am quite slim, you could easily tell they were fake which ultimately made me just as anxious about them as I did when I had no breasts.
As well as this I ended up really sick from them and suddenly started sleeping all the time. So to go from healthy and active, to suddenly constantly tired, needing a two-hour nap just to get through the day in the space of a month after having them put in. I really felt like I had made a horrible mistake but couldn't afford to get them removed. In the following years when I still had them, I developed a lot of the symptoms that others get from BII (breast implant illness) that really started to impact my life. So after 6 years and once I had paid off the first loan, I took them out and have slowly regained my health.
But obviously still having that lingering sadness about having a small chest, I started researching other ways to grow boobs naturally, I'm glad I'm doing it the natural way instead. Also I recommend looking up your actual size especially if you have a small rib cage like mine. Any under boob measurement below 30 is usually wearing the wrong size.
Even professional bra fitters have been known to measure wrong as they use the old system. I’ve always worn a 32AA until a couple of years ago when a friend recommend I did a boob or bust measurement that put me at 30B at the time. Now I wear a 30D but, I can wear a 28DD if I can find them which is considered a sister size.
A sister size is, If you go down a band you go up a cup as it’s considered to be the same.
For example a 32C and a 30D has the same cup as a 28DD because all those cup sizes are the same it’s only the band that gets tighter or looser.
So say you gain weight and your ribs under your boobs change size, you then would go up a band to a size 32C but only if your breast also don’t change, if your breast did change as well it’s a good idea to go back and remeasure all over again to get your correct size. Learning about proper sizing and how bra measurements actually work has also helped me feel better about my breast.
Though realistically my size actually came out at 26F, I prefer wearing 28/30 bands.
I measure at a 28inch rib cage 26.5 inches when it’s pulled tight.
I was really excited to read Boobinha D’s positive breast growth journey, as she is the first success story after the explant surgery. I can definitely relate to the disappointment and despair going from ample to none (fake or not!) since my full and perky breasts have sagged and shrunk after pregnancy and breastfeeding. There is no shortcut if you want to increase your breast size naturally. The instant gratification of bigger and lifted breasts through implants can certainly be a temptation. While I do not condemn those who choose to take the implant path, it’s important to understand the health and financial risks involved. It is my hope that Boobinha D’s story will encourage those on the fence to try the natural ways to grow your breasts first. Her progress story is the true testimony that “perseverance is the key to natural breast enlargement,”…something you never thought possible unless you go under a knife.
