When we search for ways to increase our breast size naturally, one of the top recommendations that show up without fail is to do chest exercises. Today, I would like to talk about whether this will contribute to growing bigger breasts.
What are breasts made of?
First, let’s take a look at the breast anatomy:
Breasts are primarily composed of glandular tissue, fat, and connective tissue.
Glandular tissue: These glands are made up of lobes and lobules. Lobules are responsible for producing milk, while lobes are larger structures that contain multiple lobules. The lobules can go through 4 distinct developmental stages during a woman’s life.
Fat: Adipose tissue, or fat, is present in the breasts. The amount of fat in the breasts can vary among individuals and is generally believed to determine the breast size.
Connective (or fibrous) tissue: This provides support and structure to the breasts by holding glandular and adipose tissue in place.
Do chest exercises increase breast size naturally?
Chest exercises primarily target the pectoral muscles underneath the breasts. This can help strengthen and tone these muscles, giving the breasts a perkier and lifted appearance. However, working the pectoral muscles does not increase the amount of glandular tissue or fat in the breasts themselves.
This is not to say that doing chest exercises is a futile attempt at growing bigger breasts. Classic chest exercises such as push-ups, chest presses, or chest flys will contribute to your body producing and releasing more human growth hormone and increase blood flow to the chest area, which are two of the 4 fundamental factors in my natural breast regimen.
The only downside to relying solely on chest exercises for natural breast enlargement is that even if the muscles get well-developed at some point, they will lose significant strength and toned appearance in a few weeks of inactivity. As such, constant maintenance exercises are a must.
How to increase breast size (breast tissue) naturally:
While chest exercises increase the pectoral muscles underneath the breast tissue, my natural breast enlargement regimen works to increase the actual breast tissue. Consistently eating well-balanced meals higher in protein, daily breast massage, and improving other areas of your diet and lifestyle will increase breast size even after puberty by ensuring that all the nutrients necessary for natural breast growth gets delivered to your breast tissues.
